It is a knockout finals game three weeks early for the Tigers and Knights when they meet in Campbelltown. The loser of Saturday afternoon’s match will find it difficult to feature in September and will it all to play for, this game should be a ripper.

The Tigers lacked leadership in a 32-12 loss to the Sea Eagles and two tries conceded just before half time cost them dearly in that one. The Knights finally got a win after six losses in a row, beating North Queensland 42-6.

Both teams will feature new hookers this week, without of favour Josh Reynolds earning a start at 9, while Danny Levi replaces the injured Connor Watson for Newcastle.

In round 19 when these two sides met in Newcastle it was a high scoring game, with the Tigers holding on to win 28-26.

The Wolf thinks this game will be just as exciting and with little to separate the two sides, the underdog Tigers offer good value at home.

Wolf Facts

  • The Tigers have only had one player placed on report this season.
