Wigan v Catalans

Perhaps the easiest game to call this weekend, Wigan-Catalans promises to be a one-sided affair. Whilst the Warriors have their eyes firmly fixed on the Grand Final, Catalans have their eyes on a beach holiday.

The Warriors have won ten of their last 11 fixtures to now sit second in the table whilst Catalans have slipped to 7th following just three wins in 12 games and have little hope of reaching the top five.

Wigan remain without skipper Sean O’Loughlin, Jarrod Sammut and prop Ben Flower so boss Adrian Lam makes just one squad change, with Harry Smith in for Amir Bourouh.

Catalans welcome back Alrix da Costa and Sam Tomkins after a three-game suspension but David Mead is out.

Wigan have played some brilliant rugby league in recent weeks – though they did get lucky away at Wakefield last weekend in their 24-16 victory – whilst the Dragons have been bitterly disappointing to say the least after looking capable of reaching the play-offs. The Warriors will continue their scintillating form with a big victory over the French side.
