Bradford Bulls have confirmed the signing of Ben Evans on a two-year deal with the forward joining twin brother Rhys Evans at the Betfred Championship club.
The Welsh International spent time on loan at Bradford from Warrington Wolves back in 2013 and has recently enjoyed spells in the Betfred Championship with London Broncos and Toulouse Olympique.
On the move, Evans said: “Coming over with Rhys [Evans] today has brought back some good memories from the last time I was here, and I am looking forward to getting started.
“I will bring some experience to the side and try help the boys by doing what I can do help out with what I know.
“I have worked with John [Kear] for the last couple of years now – I know him well on and off the field and I am looking forward to working with him and the strong squad he has built.
“Hopefully I can start training this week and do what I can to earn a place in the squad for Sheffield a week on Sunday.”
Bradford Bulls Head Coach, John Kear, added: “I am really pleased – fortunately we were in the right place at the right time with Ben and with Sam’s injury we moved very quickly, and Ben is a very good signing and a statement of intent.
“He brings hard work, the ability to play long minutes and that is what we need at this moment in time – he will be very important to us.
“His profile fits very well into what we require now and what we require going forward because it is a two-year deal.
“I would like to thank to Bradford Bulls Squad Booster Association for their contribution to getting the deal done.”
