Castleford Tigers forward Nathan Massey is set to cycle for eight hours on a wattbike on his driveway for The Prince of Wales Hospice.
The 30-year-old will be raising money for the Hospice, a charity partner of the Tigers, who are based in Pontefract and offer care for patients with life-limiting diseases.
Massey’s cycle will begin from 8am on Thursday, April 23, and he is planning to stream much of the event through Facebook or Instagram.
He said: “So, for some reason I have decided to sit on a wattbike for eight hours to try raise a little bit of money for the guys over at The Prince of Wales Hospice.
“We work closely with these guys at Castleford Tigers, they are a terrific charity that work tirelessly to ensure their patients have the very best care available to them.
“If you can donate even the smallest amount towards this great charity it would be greatly appreciated!”
