The Our League cameras will return to the Betfred Championship this weekend for live and free coverage of Saturday’s fixture between Newcastle Thunder and Toulouse Olympique.

Toulouse are already guaranteed to finish top of the table and will be presented with the League Leaders’ Shield after the match.

But before that, Sylvain Houles’ team will be aiming to maintain their 100% record – against a Newcastle side who have achieved their pre-season aim of consolidation in the Betfred Championship, and who secured their seventh win of the season against Oldham on Sunday.

The Newcastle-Toulouse game expands a feast of coverage on Our League and Twitch across different competitions and formats this weekend, including action from the Betfred Women’s Super League, Physical Disability Rugby League and the community game.

Later on Saturday, there’s an intriguing clash in the first round of the Betfred League 1 Play-Offs, with North Wales Crusaders hosting Keighley Cougars (630pm).

Saturday also features the second Southern Conference League Grand Final, with a new name guaranteed to be on the trophy, as London Chargers take on Wests Warriors at Rosslyn Park RUFC, kick off 6.30pm.

Then on Sunday, the focus switches to the Betfred Women’s Super League, with St Helens aiming to secure the League Leaders’ Shield at home to their arch rivals Wigan Warriors – in a game that will be shown on Our League and the RFL’s Twitch channel.

That game kicks off at 2pm, and will be followed on Our League only by a return to Betfred League 1 with the Elimination Play-Off between Doncaster and Hunslet at the Keepmoat Stadium (4pm).

Last but certainly not least, Sunday is a special day for Physical Disability Rugby League, with Finals Day at York St John University from 3pm – and again, covered on Our League.

Mark Foster, the RFL’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our League came into its own at the start of the year when matches were being played behind closed doors and it allowed clubs to stream the action to their supporters.

“Now as we come to the business end of the season, it’s great that we can offer such a range of big matches across different competitions to Our League members.

“With Sky also showing the Betfred Wheelchair Super League Grand Final from Medway on Sunday afternoon – on Sky Sports Mix as well as Arena, so it’s available to all – supporters will be spoilt for choice.”
