Saturday, 22nd of August, 14:00, Challenge Cup Sixth Round, John Smiths’ Stadium, Catalans Dragons versus Wakefield Trinity Match Fixture
All eyes to the cup this weekend as a resurgent Catalans Dragons do battle with Wakefield Trinity for a place in the quarter-final of the Challenge Cup. It’s a case of déjà vu for both teams, given the fact that the two sides played last weekend, with Trinity failing to win a game since the resumption of the season. The Dragons, meanwhile, have accrued 98 points in two games and haven’t conceded for almost 140 minutes of rugby league.

Catalans were the victors last weekend in triumphant fashion, hammering Wakefield 58-0. In fact, the French side have won their last three against Trinity, though the latter had won five of their last six before that against the Dragons.
It’s likely to be another Victoire for the Catalans as Steve McNamara’s men have appeared hungry for blood the past fortnight.
Catalans Dragons for the win.
If we had to pick a line?
Wakefield +16.5
