Huddersfield prepared well for this home tie with Leeds with a superb 32-12 victory over Catalans in the south of France in round one whilst the Rhinos got off to the worst possible start with a 30-4 mauling by Hull FC.
The visitors will take some comfort from the fact that they have won their last two against the Giants and have failed to lose in their last four games at the John Smiths Stadium, including a 44-0 thrashing of Huddersfield towards the back end of the 2019 season.
Jordan Turner replaces Jake Wardle who has a fractured eye socket whilst Tom Holmes comes in for Oliver Wilson in Simon Woolford’s 21-man squad. Stevie Ward drops out for Leeds after failing to recover from a head knock as Ava Seamanufagai comes in.
Huddersfield at home with Aidan Sezer in scintillating form may well be too much for a Leeds side that were easily blown away by Hull FC last weekend.
