The infamous Hull derby comes back in round two with both sides of the river in a buoyant mood following victories over Leeds (FC) and Wakefield (KR).
Good news for Robins fans too, KR have beaten FC in three of their last four meetings and three of their last four away games at the KCOM Stadium with the Robins victorious 18-10 in the last fixture in June 2019.
Tony Smith looks to name an unchanged side from the one that beat Wakefield whilst Lee Radford brings in Masi Matongo and Danny Houghton in place of Gareth Ellis and Manu Ma’u who miss out through injury, the latter whom shone against Leeds in round one.
Tony Smith’s men appear to have used the injuries to Mose Masoe and Weller Hauraki as good motivation, but FC look too big and too strong and if Hull KR don’t watch, the home side could run away with it.
ERL PREDICTION
