Thursday 17th September, 20:15, Super League Round 7, John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, Wakefield Trinity versus Huddersfield Giants Match Preview
Finally, both Wakefield and Huddersfield will be able to make up for their lost game of round 7 on Thursday night. With Trinity and the Giants on five-match losing runs after lockdown, this fixture will be vital in their attempts to get back on the horse. Those defeats have left Huddersfield in eighth and Wakefield in tenth with little hope of making the top four play-offs, though the Giants have lost three of their five games by just one point.
Wakefield Trinity
Trinity boss Chris Chester is set to hand a debut to prop Eddie Battye following his loan move from London, though fellow loanee Innes Senior cannot face his parent club. Kyle Wood, James Batchelor, Adam Tangata and Jack Croft rejoin the squad.
