Following unprecedented levels of demand for tickets during the Public Ballot and Priority Access Sale windows, all remaining Rugby League World Cup tickets are on General Sale via the RLWC2021 ticketing site.
The opening of the General Sale window marks the 200-day countdown to the opening fixture of RLWC2021 between hosts England Men and Samoa Men on 23 October at St James’ Park, Newcastle.
The ticket sales milestone further delivers on the promise of putting the fan first by making the biggest and best tournament the most inclusive and accessible in modern history with tickets starting at an affordable £2.21 and 80 per cent of tickets priced below £50.
The demand now means that matches across the tournament now have limited availability and tickets for wheelchair matches at Sheffield EIS are currently unavailable. Tickets will be on sale on a first-come, first-served basis until Tuesday 1 June, where tickets will go off sale for a three-week period until Monday 21 June for seat assignment.
We have also released a new range of competing nations merchandise launched by England legend Paul Sculthorpe and current England players Kelsey Gentles and James Simpson. The new range and all existing merchandise is available via the RLWC2021 Official Shop.
Legends will be made, nations will collide and champions will be crowned as the Rugby League World Cup returns to England in October and November 2021. #RLWC2021 tickets are now on sale. #SquadsAssemble

Terri Lynam, RLWC2021 Customer Director, said:
“Across our ticketing journey demand has exceeded our expectations and we thank the Rugby League family and the enormous number of people who have purchased tickets during such uncertain times over the past few months.”
“Only two categories with low availability remain for the historic double-header final at Old Trafford, Manchester with many other fixtures selling fast too. We urge fans to buy now to avoid disappointment and secure their ticket to the biggest and best ever Rugby League World Cup.”
“At this stage fans have been told what matches they have got tickets for with full allocation details, such as seat and stand, being communicated closer to the tournament. This means that any tickets currently being advertised on unofficial third-party ticketing sites with full allocation details listed are misleading and may well be cancelled. We strongly urge all fans to buy their tickets only from the Official Ticketing Website.”
Fans who can no longer attend matches will be able to put their tickets on the Official Resale Platform through the ticketing website later in the year. This will be the safest and most secure way to sell tickets at face value and will allow fellow fans to enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere of RLWC2021.
Tournament organisers also remind fans of the ticket refund guarantee for all ticket purchasers should there be restrictions on crowds at the event and to reassure fans in the unfortunate circumstance the event has to be cancelled. More information is available here.
Premium seats and Hospitality experiences are still on sale and available for all matches and will give fans the opportunity to secure a place at the tournament in addition to enjoying the best match day experience each venue has to offer. More details available here.
Fans can also secure their ticket through booking their Squad Trip including accommodation and experiences all in one place – making it easy to plan your trip and giving you a great choice across our host towns and cities. Book Squad Trips now.
