Wakefield are waiting to hear on the fitness of Lee Gaskell after he picked up an elbow injury against Hull FC on Sunday.
“Lee’s being assessed now, it was an elbow injury but to what extent we don’t know,” Wakefield coach Willie Poching said.
“We’ll have a look at that with the medical staff.”
Poching is hoping to have Lino back for Trinity’s next game, against Catalans in France, this Saturday.
“He missed a fair chunk of pre-season and we’re just trying to get him back fit and catch him up to speed,” he said.
“If Lee Gaskell is a bit more severe than we anticipate, well he’ll get his chance.
Thank you for your continued support! 👏

“He’s got another week in front of him to get himself fit.
“We’ve got another week to work with him.”
Despite the defeat, Poching was pleased with the character his players showed against Hull FC.
Tied up 6-6 at half-time, the visitors took the lead through second half tries to Darnell McIntosh and Joe Lovodua.
Trinity came back into the match late after Connor was sent off and Tom Johnston touched down in the corner.
“I’m frustrated because I thought the effort was outstanding, especially defensively,” he said.
“We showed a lot of spirit and unity, which is what we’re after.
“Our execution was disappointing and on the back of that, the start of the second half.
“All in all, I’m really happy with the spirit and the effort they showed today.”
