Dodd scored either side of the interval to put the Tigers in control before Stanley and Vaigalu increased the lead.

Sutherland reduced the deficit with her second try but Stanley added two more and Dodd completed her hat-trick to wrap up a victory that lifted the Tigers above York.

Rovers began to take a firm grip with Courtman’s second before Cairo Newby and Lauren Roberts also touched down and Brogan Churm grabbed a late double.

Sunday’s other two scheduled matches were not played with leaders Leeds and second-placed St Helens awarded 24-0 wins over Huddersfield and Wakefield respectively due to problems over their opponents had raising teams.
