Thursday – Warrington Wolves 34-10 Castleford Tigers

Josh Charnley scored his 250th and 251st career tries in Warrington’s big home win on Thursday night. He was joined on the scoreboard by Stefan Ratchford who managed five goals, who also got an assist on the night, and George Williams – he bagged a try and two try assists for the home side.

Jake Trueman was one of Castleford’s two tryscorers on a disappointing night for the visitors.

Friday – Wigan Warriors 34-10 Leeds Rhinos

Liam Farrell was one of the stars for Wigan who made it two wins in a row. The 31-year-old weighed in with a try and 33 tackles, as well as 152 metres from 18 carries in a big win for Matt Peet’s side.

Sam Powell also proved to be an important player on Friday, scoring two tries and making an impressive 45 tackles.

On a difficult evening for Leeds, Kruise Leeming was a bright spark, recording a try assist and 40 tackles on the night.

Saturday – Hull FC 6-38 St Helens

Jack Welsby shone for St Helens in a big win on Channel 4. The full back ran in a try and also racked up three try assists for his team as his impressive early-season form continued.

Elsewhere in Hull, Mark Percival scored a try, while Tommy Makinson kicked seven goals from seven attempts.

In opposition, Josh Griffin was impressive for the hosts, he scored a try and managed 155 metres from 15 carries on his return from a ruptured achilles injury sustained in June last year.

Saturday – Huddersfield Giants 26-12 Hull KR

Jermaine McGillvary marked his first appearance of the season with a try on Saturday afternoon, while he also weighed in with an impressive 180 metres from 17 carries.

Mikey Lewis proved to be a bright spark for Rovers, scoring his second try in as many games.

Saturday – Catalans Dragons 24-22 Wakefield Trinity

Catalans fullback and reigning Steve Prescott Man of Steel Sam Tomkins contribted a try assist and four crucal goals for the home side in a hard-fought home win.

Tom Johnstone led the opposition fight as he scored twice for Wakefield on Saturday. The winger also clocked an impressive 142 metres from 12 carries, alongside an eye-catching seven tackle busts for the losing side.

Sunday – Salford Red Devils 38-12 Toulouse Olympique

Salford’s Joe Burgess recorded a try assist in a comfortable win for the home side, while Dan Sarginson came off the bench for his first appearance of the season on Sunday.

Englishman Chris Hankinson continues to lead the charge for embattled Toulouse – the former Wigan man scored a try and kicked two goals for the away side.
