St Helens and Wigan maintained the only 100 per cent records and Huddersfield broke their duck, in a round where Greg Inglis finally made his Betfred Super League debut.

Inglis, 34, who sat out Warrington’s opening five league and cup matches, scored one of nine tries to help his new club to a 50-26 victory over Hull KR at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday.

The former Australia international ended his two-year absence from the game when starting at left centre before moving to full-back in the second half.

Hull KR, fresh from back-to-back wins over Huddersfield and Leeds, had threatened to spoil the party as they led 18-12 at half-time and were level at 22-22 midway through the second half after veteran winger Ryan Hall scored the second of his two tries.

Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Jordan Abdull and Kane Linnett crossed for the visitors.
