The Raiders’ pulsating 15-14 golden point win at Cronulla has sealed their top four place, but they’ll be looking to close out the home and away season with a big win against the Warriors on Saturday afternoon.

Aidan Sezer slotted three field goals, including an 89th minute match winner against the Sharks, helping the Raiders jag the two points from The Shire, despite being down 12-0 at the break.

Coach Ricky Stuart has opted to rest four players, with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Jordan Rapana, Iosia Soliola and John Bateman all to miss this week.

The Warriors lost their third game on the trot by 20+ points when they fell to the Bunnies at home. Injuries to Chanel Harris-Tavita, Peta Hiku Patrick Herbert mean there is a significant backline reshuffle for the 14th placed Kiwi side.

Canberra has recovered the handicap 13 times in 2019, but just four of those instances have come at home. The Warriors meanwhile have a better time of it on the road, covering 7 of 11 matches, despite being in 14th spot on the table.

A raft of changes for the Raiders makes this one tricky to call, but The Wolf is backing the Raiders’ class to get them over the line at home. New Zealand hung up the boots for 2019 a few weeks ago and they haven’t shown anything in recent weeks to say they’ll keep this match close.

Wolf Facts
