Catalans v Hull KR

31 Aug 19 0 Comments

In years gone by, Hull KR’s visit to Catalans would have been a foregone conclusion in favour of the latter, yet, the Dragons have won just two of their last five games at the Stade Gilbert Brutus. And, the Robins have won one game from two away from home.

Currently, Hull KR are in a bad way. They are sat level on points with London who prop up the table, yet a heavy defeat in the south of France could see them bottom by the end of the weekend. The East Yorkshire club have also lost their last four games in Perpignan.

Catalans welcome back Micky McIlorum and Jason Baitieri from suspension whilst Will Dagger and Mikey Lewis come in for visitors Hull KR. Craig Hall and Mitch Garbutt miss out for Tony Smith’s side.

Catalans still have an outside chance of finishing in the top five play-offs, but will need to win all their remaining fixtures. Following their heavy defeat to Leeds and home loss to London, Catalans have, however, appeared in holiday mode and KR could well snatch a vital result. CATALAN DRAGONS FOR THE WIN
