Super League

Huddersfield v Castleford

18 Aug 19 0 Comments

Huddersfield are in a pickle; they have won merely twice in nine games and find themselves in 10th thanks to a better points difference than Hull KR. The Giants improved against Salford, going down 32-12, but they must be thankful that London are at the bottom with the way they are currently playing.

Castleford, meanwhile, did Huddersfield a favour beating London last weekend and are still capable of reaching the play-offs with only points difference giving Salford a higher place in the table.

Head coach Daryl Powell makes just one change for Castleford as Greg Minkin comes in for the injured Chris Clarkson.

The Tigers have, however, struggled against the Giants in 2019 with a two-point loss and a one-point victory separating the two sides. And, against a desperate Huddersfield side, there needs to be no room for complacency, particularly as Castleford face three of the top four in their final three games. CASTLEFORD FOR THE WIN
