Hull KR v Huddersfield

Written by Callum Walker

The only unbeaten side left in the competition, Huddersfield, travel to Hull KR, knowing that they have already won two away games in 2020. KR, meanwhile, were thrashed by over 50 points against Leeds last weekend in a dismal showing.

Those results put Hull KR in tenth and Huddersfield in third, with the previous head-to-heads also going in the Giants’ favour. Huddersfield have won their last three against the Robins, including the last fixture at the KC Lightstream Stadium in July last year.

Team Changes

Mitch Garbutt returns for KR as does Joe Keyes after impressing for the reserves whilst Jamie Ellis and Jordan Abdull are ruled out with injuries sustained at Headingley. Huddersfield boss Simon Woolford has Jake Wardle back at his disposal after the three-quarter’s recovery from an eye injury as Jordan Turner makes way.

The last time they met

Its another clash between Hull KR and Huddersfield, the last time they played back in July 2019 Huddersfield were successful winning the clash 18-12 in a home game for Hull KR,  since then home games for Hull KR vs Huddersfield have gone 50/50 in wins and loses which makes this one a tough match to call.

The Giants have been in great form in 2020 and could well make it three on the bounce against an inconsistent Hull KR side, devoid of a halfback pairing.
