Round 3, Sydney Roosters (Team List Here) versus South Sydney Rabbitohs (Team List Here) Match Preview Friday 17th of March 8:00 pm kick-off Allianz Stadium, Sydney.
THE GIST
The Sydney Roosters will host the South Sydney Rabbitohs in game three, round three National Rugby League Telstra Premiership in 2023; It doesn’t get more competitive in round three as these two fight it out for another two points; the Rabbitohs have looked solid, unlucky once again against there nemesis the Panthers but showed plenty of fight, on the other hand, the Roosters have been average, its hard to feel confident about them in this matchup, even though this is rivalry at its best! They say too much class will put you on your ass, and the Rabbitohs have shown class; too much for the Roosters in 2023 is the question?
-> THE HISTORY
Although these two have lots of history and the rivalry is always at the peak and pinnacle of rivalries, it’s the Roosters who have been the more dominant team since 1998, playing the Rabbitohs on forty-eight occasions and winning sixty per cent of the time, the last time these two met the Rabbitohs got the glory winning 30-14.
-> CURRENT FORM
In Round two, the Sydney Roosters beat the Warriors 20-12 in an average performance, nothing special, while the Rabbitohs lost to the Premiers 16-10.
-> POINT SCORING
The Sydney Roosters are averaging nineteen points a match, and the Rabbitohs have averaged around nineteen points a match! Not much of a difference in offence.

The Sydney Roosters have been leaking, on average, twenty points a match in 2023, while the Rabbitohs, on average, have been conceding seventeen points a match. Hence, there is not much difference in defence.
