Thursday, August 13, 7.50 PM, Round 14, Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, Sydney Roosters take on Melbourne Storm NRL Match Preview
Another blockbuster, the Storm will play this one without their Captain and without Cameron Munster which means if the Storm wins this head to head match fixture it would almost be an insult to the Roosters, the Roosters will again trial Lachlan Lam in the number 7 jersey and Kyle Flannagan misses out for another week.
The Roosters are suffering from a large injury toll and as of late have not been covering the margins they once were, it’s a tough one to call but either way, it will be an onslaught of physicality which is always entertaining, will the Storm get over the Roosters without their Captain or will the Roosters put double digits on the Storm?

The last time these two teams met the Storm at home scraped in a win against the Roosters 27-25. Previously, in earlier years and most recent form, 40 matches played between the Roosters and the Storm favour the Storm winning 22, all other statistics suggest it’s going to be close but the Roosters have a 75% win rate at this venue.
Sydney Roosters for the win.
