Both Salford and Warrington will be playing against each other in the Challenge Cup semi-final at the weekend so it will be an interesting battle for this midweek Super League clash. The two sides’ form in the league though could not be more contrasting. As Warrington sit in first courtesy of nine wins in a row, the Red Devils occupy ninth having won just one league game in three.

Connor Aspey, Luis Roberts, Tom Gilmore and Olly Ashall-Bolt (the latter two signed from Widnes just days ago) are in line to make their first appearances for Salford too.

It’s much changed for both sides from the weekend with Warrington boss Steve Price looking to hand debuts to academy stars Cole Oakley, Nathan Roebuck and Connor Wrench as well as reserves captain Kyle Shelford.
