Saints to start well

The most difficult betting game of Round 1 is the final affair with the Dragons and Tigers both expected to endure difficult 2020s.

The Dragons have won 12 of the last 20 against the Tigers though Wests won 42-14 in their only meeting in 2019. Five of the last six meetings have failed to surpass 37 points. The under has hit in 15 of the last 22 Dragons-Tigers games.

St George Illawarra defeated Newcastle 38-12 in a very impressive showing before collapsing against Souths to lose 26-12 in the Charity Shield. The Saints lost the final of the Nines. The Tigers lost their opening trial 32-4 to Penrith before a 20-6 win over the Warriors. The Tigers were knocked out in the group stage of the Nines.

There is only a match between these two team. The Saints bring more stability into the season though and that cannot be underestimated in early season games.
