Wakefield have lost eight games in a row as they prop up the rest of Super League. St Helens, meanwhile, have won their last seven league games with only a quarter-final Challenge Cup defeat to Warrington blotting their copybook since the resumption. That could well be a blessing in disguise as the Saints sit top of the league heading into the business end of the season.

David Fifita returns for Wakefield as do James Batchelor, Max Jowitt, Jack Croft, Ryan Hampshire and Eddie Battye. Tony Gigot, Romain Navarrete, Joe Westerman and Chris Green drop out.
