Fans from around the globe can now secure their seat at Rugby League World Cup 2021, for what promises to be the biggest and best edition in the tournament’s history, after international fan travel experiences went on sale.

With 61 matches across 21 venues, played between 23 October 2021 and 27 November 2021, it’s expected that up to 10% of spectators will come from oversees. Fans can now plan and book their once in a lifetime experience to follow their nation to England next year and create unforgettable memories at the sixteenth staging of the Rugby League World Cup.

RLWC2021 has appointed Glory Days, who will work with approved agents around the world, to provide the huge international fan base with a chance to be part of the Rugby League celebration in England next year. Glory Days has a great reputation in the sport travel sector, particularly within Rugby League, having previously been involved in the Rugby League World Cup held in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea in 2017.

Fans can start planning and booking their ticket-inclusive experiences now by visiting the international fan travel page. It will provide efficiency for fans by having one place to confirm all their travel requirements, competitive pricing, alongside consumer confidence by booking via RLWC2021, which is the only place official tickets will be sold. The experiences will also offer unique opportunities to fans, such as the chance to watch the pre-match ‘Captain’s Run’ and legends events.

Jonathan Neill, Commercial Director at Rugby League World Cup 2021, said:

“With just over 12 months until RLWC2021 begins, we know there is an appetite with fans looking to organise their tickets and trip in advance, and that includes our international fan base. The team at Glory Days, and our approved agents, will create packages to suit all fans in individual markets and build the perfect RLWC2021 experience.

“The tournament is a real celebration of communities, culture and inclusivity, and we are excited about the vibrancy, diversity and atmosphere fans from all over the globe will bring to the event, and to our host towns and cities in 2021.”

Tournament organisers have confirmed that full refunds will be made available should there be Government restrictions which lead to reduced capacities or if the event is cancelled due to circumstances out of their control.

Details of the tournament’s Official Domestic Fan Travel Experiences will be released during the priority access ticket sale window starting on 21 September 2020. You can be the first to receive details by signing up.
