England Head Coach Shaun Wane invited an additional four Betfred Super League players to take part in the squad session at Leeds Beckett University.
Last week Wane named a 35-strong squad 200 days out from England’s opening game of RLWC2021 against Samoa at St James’s Park, Newcastle in October.
With seven of those 35 based in Australia and several more unable to take part through injury, Wane has taken the opportunity to introduce Huddersfield Giants pair Matty English and Jake Wardle and Leeds Rhinos duo Mikolaj Oledzki and Kruise Leeming to the England training environment.
The quartet will be hoping to strengthen their case for England Knights or even senior squad selection later in the year. Of the four, only Wardle has yet to feature in an England team above Academy level.
