Warrington Wolves have denied they have any interest in signing Hull FC back-rower Josh Jones.
According to reports, Jones is unhappy at the Black & Whites and has asked to leave the club. Warrington had been linked as a potential new home for the forward.
But Wolves CEO Karl Fitzpatrick told Everything Rugby League his club is not after Jones.
The 26-year-old has made six appearances for Hull FC in 2020, notching two try assists and averaging 97.5 metres, three tackle busts and 23 tackles per game.
The in-demand Jones joined the Black & Whites at the end of 2019 from Salford on a two-year deal.
The second-rower helped the Red Devils into last year’s grand final and earned his first cap for Great Britain against Tonga in October.
Jones debuted in Super League for St Helens in 2012. He won a grand final with Saints in 2014 before a brief spell in rugby union.
The back-rower returned to rugby league in 2016 with Salford. He has made more than 200 career appearances, scoring 44 tries, in Super League.
